Now some notes to take when using the RB_STM32_DVM thanks Scott again for helping me through all this. This is edited so I don’t send everything in the email across but you all get the point here.
It is indeed possible, but requires a firmware upgrade.
Here is the firmware you’ll want to load on the board:

You’ll need to upgrade Pi-Star or switch to the WPSD front-end for the MMDVM project:

W0CHP’s build offers support for FM mode and M17. You’ll need to select the higher (460800) baud rate.
